There is no doubt that people of different generations have the same (or more) understanding of computer the net etc., there is no bearing on 'ability' when it comes to age and the internet. I do think 'digital native' can be applied to describe people who know no different - they obviously have a different view of computers/the interent because they have no other experiences to draw from. It doesnt affect ability it affects outlook I guess. In much the same way that my students will not know what the world looked like without the Internet - while when I was their age the Internet basically didnt exist for the general public - our outlooks will be different. But now I am digressing - lol - because in this post it would have been more apt for me to use 'digital resident' because that was the point I was trying to make. Thanks for the comment :)Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11149260778541413650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8896491374322484447.post-34797261733935186282011-03-12T19:31:51.751-08:002011-03-12T19:31:51.751-08:00Hey, Tim - I like the 'digital resident' c...Hey, Tim - I like the 'digital resident' concept better - not about generations or age - I think some older people (me?) are as much digital as many young ones... but I digress from your main point - which I agree with.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05600311767018434500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8896491374322484447.post-43008719142227749392011-03-10T19:56:07.283-08:002011-03-10T19:56:07.283-08:00Nice!
